Karin Davel is a qualified teacher (has obtained a Fine Arts degree from Pretoria Univ). She specialises in Art and Afrikaans. She has mainly taught high school pupils and adults, but has also helped younger children who have been home-schooled. 

As Karin uses many media for her own work, she can teach people whatever they want to learn. Her slogan is: ‘Fine Art to Fun Art!’

She does one-on-one classes on request, but also small groups (4-6 people) at her home studio in Glencairn Heights. People normally provide their own materials, but that is negotiable. 

Karin can also bring art as entertainment to parties…for events like that, she’ll provide all materials and designs per request. It’s all about FUN! 

She also leads art retreats - she has accommodation contacts in the West Coast and Swartland areas, so if a group of friends wants to have an art break-away, contact her to arrange such an event.
